Pursue Relationship

Burdened by so many mishaps. Life feels so uncertain. It is tough for so many. While I willow in my own sorrows I cannot help but to think is it worth it? So much sorrow.
It felt like a brick on my shoulders. Reading and studying, asking in prayer. Lord you already know what my needs are so I am not here for me but for so and so. That one really needs a miracle. This one needs one also.
When life slips through our fingers. It feels like all hope is lost. Why ask for a miracle? God did not provide it then, would he this time?
The last few weeks has been paralyzing. Too tired to even post a chapter. Too tired to write. Whenever I write all the posts disappear. Friends passing away. Others are sick! Help needed here and there.
In question I asked Is God really calling me to write this stuff? What kind of calling is this? I do not understand it. To pray? For what? Friends and family are passing away so fast where is hope? Ask for miracles? Why? They will die anyway.
God reminded me Lazarus was brought back to life. You don’t believe that? Can I do it again? Whether the miracle happens my way or another a little girl reminded me of something in her last journal entry! “Don’t look for a miracle!” Just get a relationship with God.
Often times, we concern God with our miracle requests instead of simply pursuing him. Please do not get this wrong. It is ok to bring our requests to him, after all the Bible tells us to asks, yes BUT pursue him.
The question is really what are we pursuing? When people are dying and things are going wrong is it easy to question? It is! Like what are you doing God?
But when in a relationship with him whether angry, happy or sad, things are going right or wrong we come back to him. That is relationship to me. Why? He holds all things in his hands and he will work it out for our good and his glory. At the end we know deep down inside it will work out because we truly trust him.
Yes my heart is heavy, and I still ask for a miracle but he said “Give all your worries and cares to [me] God, for he cares about you[us].”
1 Peter 5:7 NLT
If God cares about us, which I know he does He will give us miracles in his own way not how we expect them and we learn to accept it. AND we continue to pray…AND thank him! I read this quote by Dottie Mae, “Seeds of Faith”
“Prayer is the cure for a confused mind, a weary soul and a broken heart!” Therefore our answer to our questions can be answered in prayer.
Thank him continually, praise him consistently and draw closer to him, GOD and never stop praying. He understands his children and He loves us all unconditionally.
My message to us is continuously pursue a relationship with God. He cares. Always has and always will.
Let us pray,
Father, You are more than we can imagine. Savior of the world, father of all creation, thank you for being our burdens bearer. Lord, forgive us of our sins and cleanse us from our unrighteousness. We are so grateful for your loving kindness towards us, your patience and your understanding, thank you. Lord we lift up those who have asked for miracles one way and you granted it another. Lord thank you for reminding us that you are not our vending machines but our life sustainer. You love us unconditionally and we are so thankful. Forgive us for doubting, forgive us when we become angry, help us in our weakness and Lord thank you for carrying us. We know you are God all by yourself and that you give us strength in our weakness and lord we just want to say thank you for everything and for being you. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
