Raised in a Christian home…
I’ll get it right when I’m ready…
No one can tell me how to live my life…
I am my own man…
Who could be foolish enough to believe in a man they cannot see…
I will enjoy life now and serve God when I am older…
Sound familiar? What if tomorrow never comes? What if we die and wake up at Christ return and see the skies open up, then we are condemned to hell forever?
What if we gained the whole world and lost our souls?
What if we submitted to God and his guidance, only to discover a prosperous life, a peaceful life and a life well lived. Embrace God’s loving kindness and his mercies. I am learning how to hold on and remain committed, in spite of life’s circumstances and you can too. It is never too late to start!
Merciful Father, thank you for being our Heavenly Father. We are so grateful for your loving kindness towards us. We are sinners who want to be in your kingdoms forever. As you discipline us, guide and protect us, may we heed your teachings. May we practice what you tell us and God please “prop us up on our leaning side!” None of us are without sin, so please help us remember to put our stones down. Help me in every area of my weakness’, strengthen me and guide me on the right path. Thank, thank you, thank you God in the name of Jesus we pray. Amen
