Got Plans?

The Pastor said if you want to make God laugh tell him your plans. Never thought of it this way but it is true.
We go to him with our list, our plans A, B, and C. If this one fails then the next will work. Meanwhile, for the entire time he listens. It’s like listening to my daughter who after a few minutes tells me I am not listening. I am just not responding until it is time. Why do we think he is not there? He is! He knows what concerns us.
The Bible already told us For I KNOW THE PLANS, it means if I CREATED YOU, and I KNOW THE NUMBER OF HAIRS ON YOUR HEAD… folks why do we waste our time striving, thinking we know what is best?
Listen, here’s some advice, when you wake up thank him, when you sit to eat thank him, before you make a decision consult him, when you mess up apologize to him and simply start over. In the middle of the day, thank him and worship him. At the end of the day spend a few minutes talking to him. If he wakes you up in the middle of the night do as Samuel did. Say speak Lor your servant is listening. What would you have me do today?
This clearly sounds like relationship building to me, especially when you are in constant communication with God. Let us stop planning without him.
Let us pray
Father in Heaven, thank you for being our Amighty, all powerful knowing God. You are the only one who knows all about our flaws and our strengths yet still you love us unconditionally. Forgive us when we fall short and strengthen us where we are weak. We pray we come to you first as opposed to last. We pray we learn to give you our first fruits in time, deed and money and father our conversation too. May we bring all our questions and concerns to you. Since you know everything about us and still love us unconditionally it is best to speak to you about any and all things! Help us Lord so we hear the words well done at your return. Thank you for being our intercessor at all times and the presence of the Holy Spirit. Lord, I pray that we become purpose filled and are obedient to your word as your pans prevail in our lives. Sovereign Lord, Thank you. In Jesus name we pray. Amen

Matthew 6:34 NLT
“You can make many plans, but the Lord’s purpose will prevail.”
