Fear Is A Thief

Did you know fear was a thief.? It can steal our joy, peace, sanity, belief, steps, and definitely our faith!!! Oh boy would it love to have our faith.

When we are fearful it is hard to believe God can turn things around. And even more difficult to believe we will ever get out of the stage we are in. We may feel stuck forever! I surely felt this way before. However, lately I believe I will get up. How about you?

Is this why the enemy comes to rob you? Perhaps. The Bible says if we have a mustard seed of faith mountains will move. That’s just a spec, like a grain of dirt! Oh how sweet it is to trust God. Faith overcomes fear!!

Question: what can be said about you that has not been said before? What can harm you that has not harmed before? What can hurt you worst than before? The answer is nothing! So step out I faith and believe God.

When you look at fear and respond wit: I will trust God. Do it, I will stand on God’s word.

When I work on my relationship with God there is a difference in how things work out. If we do not try we will not experience the joy of the Lord, and we definitely will not grow! “We need to practice distancing our lives away from fear. When we embrace it we may feel safe but honestly we miss out on so much that God has in store for us.

Mark 5:36 do not be afraid. Nehemiah 6:9 read the entire chapter. There were accusations, threats, surrounded by the enemy to cause fear but He focused on God and got the work done.

“For they all were trying to make us afraid, saying, “Their hands will be weakened in the work, and it will not be done.” Now therefore, O God, strengthen my hands.”

There are some people walking around unaware of the gifts God has instilled in them. They are unaware of who they are due to fear. God calls us by name, we were predestined!!! Walk your calling!

Nehemiah could have believed fear but he chose to listen to faith instead. “…fear says it is impossible…Faith said even if it looks impossible I know the Great I Am who says through Christ all things are possible.

Let us pray,

Father today as I bow before you I thank you for restoring my life. Father thank you for caring so much about your children that you will carry us through, allow your son to die to wash our sins away and still stand in the gap taking on our fears and worries. God thank you for watching over us as we come and go! Lord thank you for being our great redeemer father and friend. Help us recognize who we are in you and strengthen us to stand believing and standing on your words. Father again thank you for your greatness and mercies. In Jesus name we pray. Same
